There is Better Way to Find a Home Business

There is no doubt there are many business opportunities out there for the home-based entrepreneur. Some are really, really good. Some are very, very bad. But until you know what your personal and financial goals are, you won’t be able to tell the difference.

If you tried a home business in the past and failed, you probably already have an inkling about what I mean. You see, most people approach looking for a home business the way they shop, they browse around the Internet looking for an inexpensive package that promises a big profit. Then several months into the business, they realized this wasn’t what you really wanted, and either the business fails them or they fail it.

If that was you, you may have chalked it up to experience. Or you may have gotten frustrated or angry. You may have felt miserable because you invested that money to get you closer to your future and instead you are further from it.

A Better Way

There is a better way to choose a business. And the first step is to figure out what your long term goals are. The reason long term goals are so important is because there are as many business opportunities to choose from as there are people seeking them. So if you don’t choose wisely – if you don’t choose deliberately and with clarity – chances are your business will not give you the return you hoping for. And you will be that much further from your goals.

Now, there may be many, many business opportunities out there, but there are really only THREE KINDS of business opportunity seekers:

those who are looking to make extra money
those who are looking to get rich and are willing to work a gazillion hours
those who are looking to make a great income while still having the time to enjoy the lifestyle they choose

The question is which one are you?

The Real Question

Before you answer the question above, try this one.

If you had all the money in the world and all the time in the world, what would you be doing right now (be as specific as possible)?

Ask this question of yourself again and again, AND WRITE IT DOWN. And when you are satisfied that your answer is as precise and honest as you can make it, when it is crystal clear – you will have your long term goals.

Not only will you know what kind of business seeker you are, you will have a vision to chart your course by. And the next business you choose will be the right one for you. It will bring you the success and the lifestyle you crave.
