Making Sales Online Without A Website

It is not groundbreaking news that the Internet is heavily populated with buyers looking for products and services. Sites have popped up by the millions and continue to grow as Internet usage grows.

As a business owner you may wonder if the Internet will ever have a place for your brick and mortar business or you may have began planning on designing a website to increase exposure of your local business to the Internet masses. Never think because your business isn't online that there isn't a place for you because you are without a developed website. Building exposure for your business is the best way to increase the amount of walk-in sales to your establishment and the Internet is massive exposure at it's best.

More and more buyers everyday search the Internet for local businesses that are offering goods/services they may need or desire. With the growing need, the development of information portals for the sole purpose of providing region specific data to Internet users has exploded.

There is a type of advertising out there that is still in it's growth but increasing swiftly in the electronic information age, that advertising service is PPC (pay per call advertising). PPC advertising online allows you to advertise your business but only pay when a potential customer calls your business. 

Many information search PPC companies are using an ad style that looks much like a contextual Google AdWords ad. Instead of clicking an ad however, they are asked to call a number instead. This number will be a number different from your business phone number but will be routed to your phone line when called. This allows the PPC agency to track your calls and bill you accordingly.

This type of advertising is perfect because you only are paying for results but are being exposed and branded in your local market. The costs of the phone calls will be different based on industry and the PPC agency, but can be well worth the cost if you have a sales team ready to take in orders or additional store visitors. Research shows that those that call a phone number are far more likely to end their conversation with a buy opposed to clicking on a website through a paid advertisement.
