There is a growing number of people around the world who believe in eco-green living. They try to adapt a green lifestyle, whereby every action they take is in relationship to the betterment of the planet and its environment. Thus every decision taken is in consideration of the potential consequences for the planet. Through green lining, one takes care of all the living things found on the planet like plants, animals and human being.

One of the main requirements of eco-green living is to minimize our action on the ecology. If it is found that any action is making a major negative result on the environment, then ways have to be found to make change in those actions. There had been a massive scale environmental destruction in the last century through pollution, construction, extraction of raw materials and agricultural developments. There had also been damage to the environment which resulted in climate change like global warming. This triggered sensitive eco systems to fail, as they could not adapt to this alarming warming up.

The people who live green lives think that every person on this planet leaves an ecological footprint during their tenure of existence. The footprints represent the total effect that we do to the environment. These foot prints add up with each passing generation. However, these footprints will cause damage that will have to be dealt with by the future generation. This is certainly not to be supported, as it is a callous way of living.

Human beings have affected the environment in two different ways. These are endangering the bio-diversity and at the same time causing climate change. To counter these problems, the green living movement has come into existence. The whole idea behind the creation of movement is conserve nature and encourage the sustainability through making known the problems of damage of the natural environment. Once we come to know about the problems, we can make ourselves educated on ways to overcome these damages. We can then work in a more productive style.

It is widely believed that the government is responsible to address these issues. However, they must know that in addition to the government to regulate and enforce laws for protecting the environment, we are also responsible for the damaging ecological footprints that we live behind in our everyday lives. The best solution that we can make is to reduce our footprints and lessen the harmful effects that happen with our actions. One of the easiest ways to live green is to choose an organic lifestyle. We can make a habit of eating as well as using organic products.
