Creating a Healthy Enviroment for your Longevity

Our environment has become anything but healthy to live in. We have more pollutants than ever before. This is not just in the air we breathe but extends to our water systems and the food we eat. Now the question is how we can help to create a healthy living environment? You may be surprised to know that we can do quite a bit to help resolve this problem.

Organic farming: many of the pollutants that are getting into our food and water are from commercial farming. This has resulted in a not very healthy living environment. Because chemical herbicides, fertilizers and insecticides that are put on the crops, seep into ground and run off into our rivers and streams etc. This will contaminate our whole water system including the water that we drink. The chemicals get into our food as well, making further problems for our health, added to this are the pollutants from industry, acid rain and other sources. Organic farming will provide you with non contaminated food and save our water systems from being polluted. This will help to create a healthy living environment?

Recycle: when you recycle newspapers, it will mean that not so many trees have to be cut down. Trees are nature's natural filters and clean the air, when they are cut down there are less of them to keep the air clean and create a healthy living environment.

Preserve and grow more trees: We can also be careful when we are out in the woods to prevent forest fires. This will save large stretches of trees. If your backyard is big enough you can even help to make a healthy living environment by planting fruit trees. This will provide you with organic fruit and provide more trees to filter the air.

Take care of the land: When you go out camping or picnicing in the great outdoors, try not to drop litter on the ground or in the river. This will help to preserve a healthy living environment.

Cut down pollution in the home: You can cut down pollution in the home by regular damp mopping and having a vacuum with a good filter, be sure to keep this clean. You will be surprised at how much this will help you to create a healthy living environment in your own home. Fix any water leaks in your home as moist places will allow mold to grow. This will help you to eliminate toxic molds and create a healthy living environment.
