But with the modern designs coming in, the shoes are changing the styles and build. The customized styles also serve other purposes. Like that of shoes with spiked design. These shoes are very comfortable for running on the tracks.

The different types of athletic footwear are those of 'Sneaker boots' which reach up to the calf. The shoes those are made to remain in the middle of 'low-tops' and 'high-tops' are known as 'Mid-cut'.

The shoes those are covering the ankle are of 'High-tops'. Those shoes that are not made to for covering up ankles of the legs are of 'Low-tops'.
