A Water Feature Can Increase The Value When Selling Your Property

1)Clean your outside space

Clear out the outside space and increase the area by trimming back any out of control area’s, make sure that if your prospective purchasers arrive, the front of the house is empty of any waste collection, toys, cars and all gardening waste. You may be getting rid of your unwanted rubbish but prospective buyers don’t need to see it. It is usually men who notice how easily maintained the garden space is and having a messy or overgrown space can really put them off.

2)Add some colour

Where you can, make your outside living space seem colourful by adding some floral decoration. A simple technique is to use some pots or maybe a hanging basket and place colourful bright plants and for however long you need it will add a certain appeal. Try to avoid heavily scented plants as people have personal preferences and the wrong plant could leave the wrong lasting impression. A real benefit of pots or baskets is they are usually relatively inexpensive and you can always move them with you to a new house.

3)edging the boundary

The edging of your space should also be well maintained depending on the size and shape of garden you have. If your home has only a small amount of outside space, camouflaging the borders with some potted plants but not too large can change the perspective and in some cases lightening the walls with paint. It can refresh the space, but make sure the paint you use is light and complements the rest of the property’s overall look. If your garden is on the larger side, point out the size, with clearly defined borders ensuring that all fencing looks in good repair and freshly painted or any brickwork is faultless.

4)The entertainment space

If your outside space is looking good, take it over the edge by creating a scene. Have a cleaned and stylish barbeque in clear view with garden furniture set out, as if you use the space to entertain and relax frequently, even if it’s not your personal taste most potential purchasers can be sold by the idea of something rather than the reality. If you have a viewing on a summery day, increase the sale chances by offering them some refreshment when they’re outside.

5)Add something special

If you feel something is missing and money is not really a problem then give the garden something special by adding a self contained water feature that is both attractive and compliant for children, it can make the unforgettable feature that puts your property ahead of the others of equal price bracket.
