It works like this, you set up ad campaigns about your business and then bid a certain amount of money to get the positioning that you want and every time a potential customer or prospect clicks on your ad you will be charged an amount that you previously agreed to. One of the most popular PPC programs out there is Google Adwords. It's pretty simple to use but the downside is that if you do not know exactly what you are doing you can lose lot of money before you see a dime of profit. Banner Exchange Sites - These are places where you can go and signup for and have banners put on your website in exchange for your business banners being displayed on other peoples websites. This is a great way to get your business some great attention and it can be fairly inexpensive. Article Marketing - This can be time consuming but again a great way to get your business name out there. All that you need to do is write some quality content articles on topics that are related to your business and then submit them to top article submission sites such as Ezine Articles and Go Articles. With article marketing you should look at it like this, the more articles you write the more exposure your business will get. Pretty cool stuff!

Classified Sites - There are several free and paid classified sites out there that can be pretty beneficial to you and your business. All you really need to do is write some pretty catchy ads that include your contact information in it (phone number, web address, email). Try to post ads on a regular basis. Start off by posting at least one ad a week. Craigslist and USFreeads would be a great place to start.
